In the middle of "Rapadathu" , telling about the life of man who has been free from the shackles of the lust of the world. As for the top "Arupadhatu" , tells about the man who was at the top and close to the gods.

On the inside of this little stupa each comes a statue or a Budhha statue that is sitting cross-legged in a perfect lotus position with mudra (hand attitude) or more fully referred to as "Dharmachakra mudra" (rotating wheel of dharma).
The construction of Borobudur Temple is estimated to start from the 8th century until the 9th, around the year 75-825 AD during the reign of the Syailendra in Central Java and only recently completed during the reign of king Samaratungga in 825 AD
There is an opinion that the construction of this temple is done as a form of competition between the two royal dynasties at that time, namely the Syailendra dynasty who embraced Buddhism and Sanjaya followers who follow the Hidu religion.
Not wanting to be defeated by the Syailendra, the Hindu Sanjaya followers also built a Hindu temple that we know today as Prambanan Temple which was built around the year 850 AD
The shape of the Borobudur Temple was designed by an architect named Gunadharma. He was able to make the design of Borobudur Temple building that is very grand and has high artistic value when at that time there is no computerized technology as it is today.
The name Borobudur itself comes from the Sanskrit word "Buddhist monastery Uhr" which means Buddhist Monastery on the Hill. In the opinion of archaeologists, this temple is built on a natural hill which then the top of the hill is flattened and the flat ground is expanded.
